About

One of Normandy's oldest and most prestigious Calvados houses, founded in 1820 by Ernest Busnel in the Pays d'Auge. Diversified into whisky in 2019 under cellar master Gaetan Delamare. Busnel whiskies brewed from 100% Norman-grown barley, double-distilled in copper stills, aged in French and American oak barrels. Available in pure malt and peated malt expressions. Ages over 5 million litres of Calvados in its cellars. The region's leading Calvados exporter, available on five continents. The Calvados-to-whisky crossover brings centuries of apple brandy expertise to grain spirit production.
