About
Three-generation family of traveling distillers who settled in Uberach in the Val de Moder region of Alsace. In 2007, Tharcis Hepp oriented the distillery toward whisky production, creating a doubly distilled single malt. Their warehouses benefit from Alsace's natural continental climate for maturation -- IGP Whisky d'Alsace regulations forbid artificial temperature regulation. Produces both unpeated and peated single malts under the OUISKI brand, winning numerous medals at the Paris General Agricultural Competition.
