Founded in 1958 by Fridolin Meyer as a fruit brandy (eaux-de-vie) producer in the Alsatian village of Hohwarth. Launched whisky production in 2007 under the Meyer's Le Whisky Alsacien brand. Now the most awarded distillery in France with over 206 medals at the Concours General Agricole de Paris. Third-generation family operation producing IGP Whisky d'Alsace alongside traditional fruit brandies. Also houses a whisky and spirits museum open to visitors.
