Domaine Mavela / P&M

Corsica's only whisky producer, born from a partnership between Domaine Mavela and Brasserie Pietra (hence 'P&M'). The wash is specially brewed by Pietra using Corsican malts and distilled at Mavela in a Holstein pot still before maturation in ex-Muscat, ex-wine, and oak casks. First bottled in December 2004. Benefits from an exceptional Mediterranean microclimate between sea and mountains. A founding member of the Federation du Whisky de France. The only whisky in the world produced entirely on a Mediterranean island with distinct Corsican terroir character.
