About

A pioneering organic farm-distillery in the French Alps at 880 meters elevation, founded by Frederic Revol. Practices a complete seed-to-bottle philosophy: grows its own heritage barley and rye varieties at altitude, floor-malts on site, ferments with wild and cultivated yeasts, and distills on small Holstein pot stills. All grain is certified organic. Maturation in the Alpine mountain climate produces expressive, terroir-driven whisky. Acquired by Remy Cointreau in 2017, adding whisky to their premium spirits portfolio (alongside Bruichladdich). Core expressions include Ampelos (single malt), Moissons (organic rye and malt), and Tekton. Widely considered France's most ambitious and terroir-authentic whisky producer.
