Peru's pioneering whiskey distillery, located in Lurin (1 hour south of Lima). Founded by American entrepreneur Michael Kuryla and Peruvian wife Daiana Mayer. Produces 'Black Whiskey' from Andean black corn (maiz morado) grown at 10,000+ feet in Cajamarca. Uses a 6,000L copper pot still for double distillation, producing ~1,000-1,200L/week of new make at 62-63% ABV. Four stills total across three production lines. Also produces gin, rum, and liqueurs. Won 'Best in Show' at 2022 New York World Spirits Competition, beating 5,000+ entries. Created the 'Andean Whiskey' category. Exporting to Uruguay and Ecuador.
