GOALONG (sometimes romanized as Goalong) has invested heavily in Scottish-style whisky production with a massive distillery complex featuring copper pot stills imported from Scotland. The company also produces baijiu and other spirits, but their single malt and blended whisky programs have attracted significant attention. Capacity is enormous by world craft standards -- reflecting China's characteristic approach of building at scale. GOALONG has hired Scottish master distillers as consultants and sources both domestic Chinese barley and imported Scottish malt.
