Sake brewery turned whisky producer in Yuza-cho, Yamagata Prefecture, near Mt. Chokai and the Sea of Japan. Founded by Junpei Sato, rooted in Tatenokawa Shuzo and Owajiman sake houses. Established December 2021, whisky production began October 2023. House style: clean, elegant, balanced with signature fruitiness. Won silver at World Whisky Awards 2024 for Newpot. Concept is a 'Shonai whisky' reflecting the local terroir.
