Norway's pioneering whisky distillery, founded in 2007 on the historic Kimerud farm in Lier, 25 minutes west of Oslo by the Drammensfjord. Originally known for Kimerud Gin (launched 2014), the distillery released its first single malt whisky in 2023 under the Stiger brand. Uses column distillation for whisky. Also produces Haavaldsen Aquavit. The distillery offers tours with fjord-side tasting experiences.
