Major Cognac house in the heart of Grande Champagne (premier cru of Cognac), with family tradition dating to the 17th century. Michel Boinaud created the distillery in 1946. Now equipped with 41 Charentais stills and 450 hectares of vineyard. Since 2018, diversified into French whisky under the Heriose brand. Run since 2016 by grandsons Charles and Remi Boinaud. The 41-still operation is one of the largest private distilleries in the Cognac region, bringing immense distillation expertise to whisky. Federation du Whisky de France member.
