Moe Distillery

One of the world's oldest operating distilleries (est. 1688). Modernized in 1886 when purchased by a pharmacist. First batch of rye malt distillate laid to age in 2016, with Estonia's first whisky bottled December 2019. Produces Tamm and Rukis — Estonia's first and only whisky — from 100% Sangaste winter rye (world's oldest grain variety, government-protected). Matured in American oak in historic cellars.
