Thailand's first single malt whisky distillery, established circa 2019 by Thai Beverage (ThaiBev) in Kamphaeng Phet province within the UNESCO-listed Western Forest Complex. Over five years of development before global launch in 2024. Uses Forsyths copper pot stills from Scotland: two 6.58m wash stills and two 5.59m spirit stills. Mashing in a 40m3 stainless steel mash tun processing 8 tonnes per batch via Bühler roller mill. Uses both unpeated and peated barley (45ppm) imported from the UK. Uniquely matures casks underground, 3-4 metres beneath the surface, where soil acts as insulation against tropical heat. Underground warehouses hold 30,000-50,000 casks each. Three launch expressions: Select Cask, Double Cask, and Peated Malt. Category Winner at World Whiskies Awards 2025 (NAS category). Launched in Asia 2024, Europe and US 2025.
