Spain's first craft distillery, founded 2012-2013 in Las Rozas, Madrid. Produces Mentidero single malt whisky range from lightly smoked Castilian malt, triple-distilled in traditional copper pot stills. Two flagship expressions: G Edition (peated, ex-Rioja cask, single cask) and Archetype (unpeated, double-cask ex-Rioja and ex-Pedro Ximenez). No additives or coloring. Also produces award-winning Santamania Gin. Over 30 international medals. The distillery that established Madrid as a serious craft spirits city, now expanding Spain's whisky identity beyond DYC.
