India's oldest and largest malt distillery, founded in 1984 in the coastal town of Dahanu, Maharashtra. Home to India's largest copper pot stills and the country's biggest privately owned maturation warehouse. Four generations of family ownership. Historically a bulk malt supplier to major Indian and international brands, South Seas launched its first consumer brand Crazy Cock Single Malt in December 2023 with two expressions: RARE (unpeated) and DHUA (peated). Made from 6-row Indian barley, tropical maturation creates rapid flavor development. Entered duty-free retail in 2024 across three key travel retail markets.
