Belgian whisky distillery operated by Het Anker Brewery (Gouden Carolus beer, named after Emperor Charles V). Site dates to 1637 — barley processing and distillation occurred here from mid-1600s until 1914. Revived 2010 for whisky. Houses one of Belgium's oldest malt kilns and two Forsyths of Scotland copper pot stills. Produces Gouden Carolus Single Malt distilled from their iconic beer wash.
